    Default AMD Fusion open drivers

Does AMD plan to open specs for the AMD Fusion GPU+CPU combo? (the one that competes with the Intel ATOM+PowerVR combo)

Or will AMD follow every other vendor (PowerVR, NVIDIA, Qualcomm) in the "mobile GPU" space and keep their specs closed?

Open drivers are already written, just waiting for final approval to release.

Driver is mostly 2D, the 3D part is likely close to evergreen so yes there will be a gallium driver ie the one that already exist.

Yep. Most of the patches are for the kernel driver and X driver; the 3D driver doesn't change much at all.

IIRC Alex ended up with 21 kernel patches, 4 ddx patches, and one mesa patch. The mesa patch is for the classic mesa driver right now, but I imagine adding support to the Gallium3D driver should be very similar.
