There is the first beta release of the Adobe 10.2 Flash Player now available for Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS X, and Linux platforms that brings a variety of improvements since the Flash Player 10.1 release from earlier this year. For Linux users this Adobe Flash update is quite important since it finally delivers GPU-based video acceleration support via their new Stage Video technology that is now supported on all platforms. Adobe's Stage Video offloads the entire video process to the GPU and in this article are some initial tests illustrating the benefits of this Flash update for Linux users.

First my english really not well

Flash 10.2 > vdpau > vaapi > xvba radeon hd 4### & hd 5###
is this possible?
I thing this could work by reason of libva (VA API extensions for VDPAU)
and amd and Splitted Desktop collaborating in XvBA back-end for vaapi.
But I can t test this because i have not an amd graphic card
can somebody test this?

Phoronix could offer us another test, but this time on an Intel IGP based netbook.
Several persons like myself have reported much improved performance on Intel IGP desktops.

Hmm on GeForce 8400 GS (vdpau ompatible) I dont see any big difference. Still very high cpu usage on 720p video... maybe 10.2 works with vdpau only for newer cards?

More then likely your missing libs if you're running a 64-bit os.
