Two weeks have passed since the release of Iveland Alpha 2, but now it's time for the third alpha release for the Phoronix Test Suite 3.0 "Iveland" benchmarking platform. Quite a number of changes have built up over such a short period of time as this release nears OpenBenchmarking.org integration and ready for its planned release in Q1'2011...

I think this is good place to post about some kind of bug in 3.0 Alpha 3. I have been trying to install linux-system suite, and at the end I have error, telling, that libpng-1.2.39.tar.gz package could not be downloaded...

There should be some place, where everybody can report bugs like this. I know, that we can do it here @forum... maybe some bug tracker?

Well generally I correct the bugs right away (and there aren't too many) so to date forums have worked fine.

I had the same issue, seems like libpng39 is a version of libpng12, here I let a download link

you can fount it on this directory of libpng12:

so you access version 1.2.39 directory

http://sourceforge.net/projects/libp...leases/1.2.39/

and there is:

now I'll try to put it on phoronix configuration files, I work as systems engineer so I think it's not gonna be hard to find this.
