    Does anyone know what is going on with Icculus.org tonight? Been down for a few hours now...

    Going on 8 or 9 hours now, nobody knows anything?

    It's up, at least now it is. Maybe it was just down for maintenance or a server move.

    Yeah, it was down around 18 hours or so. If it was a server move, then they should have given some warning, my guess it was a DDOS attack.

    Either way, this seems to happen whenever we have a major release lately(Ryan assures me it's not related though). It's a free host, so I cannot complain really, but it's no longer acceptable for me, so I've moved all of our web related items to a paid host. Keeping our SVN, channel bots and other items there though. It's very upsetting when you get slashdotted and your game has a great chance at publicity, and your website is down for extended periods(which happened to us a year or so ago). Another problem was that not only was our website down, but also our default http server for custom map downloads, so players were dl'ing maps(slowly) over udp.
