amdcccle segmentation fault

Have you tried running as root user? I find that I cannot run amdcccle as a normal user and get a seg fault. I have to su into root, then I can run it.

I tried that it also doesn't help. I also tried doing "DISPLAY=:0 amdcccle" as someone here suggested but it doesn't work either.

It only works if I don't use Xgl.

Hi, I get the exact same problem here with an x1400 and xgl. I get a segmentation error when running amdcccle and fgl_glxgears won't run this error:
Using GLX_SGIX_pbuffer
Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":1.0".
Error: couldn't get fbconfig
