Frankly, I really wonder why anyone still cares. Sure, VIA's solutions were incredibly interesting before the Intel Atom came out. But that was more than 1 1/2 years ago.
Now VIA's solutions are usually more expensive, much harder to get and feature non-existing software support. Also, when VIA announces a brand new product, it usually comes to market something like two years later, when it has ceased to be interesting.
As much as I appreciate you guys digging in this driver mess, perhaps one should just let their CPU business die in piece and ignore this company.
