    Default Best Test For Stressing RAM?

    I am looking for something that can stress RAM (sort of like the "blend" test in Orthos for Windows). I am overclocking and need to test stability. What's the best test for RAM stressing?

    compile openoffice. Again and again and again. Also glibc. And gcc.

    In fact, a good old gentoo install to the desktop is a very good test. With /var/tmp/portage on a tempfs 'partition'. Your ram will be stressed. Oh yes.
