Default Looking for Linux programmer to hack on Wine

    Hi,

I'm not sure if this is an appropriate place for this; if not then I'm sorry.

I'm looking for a Linux programmer, preferably with some knowledge of Wine, to make a game playable in Wine (first in Linux, them on the Mac). The game practically works, there's a couple of glitches with the controls.

I'm paying money. Please PM me or just respond to this thread.

    Thanks.

this sounds to me like the mouse escape windows or mouse is in a little area xinput2.0 bug-

this bug should mostly be fixed in the newest crossover release or newest wine 1.3 develop release.

this is one of the biggest wine gaming bugs ever: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6971

about an mouse/keyboard lag you should use kernel 2.6.38 this kernel improve the responsibility of the mouse and keyboard input.

gaming on linux with wine makes a lot more fun with kernel 2.6.38 because of this.

    Thanks for your answer(s).

I know Crossover. It doesn't work either.

I'm looking to make a custom solution for a single game.

    Are you a programmer?
