Someone plzzzzzz help me out...prob with fc6 desktop effects
hi all,
my laptop config is AMD turion64,1gb ram,128mb ATI Radeon XPRESS 200M 5955 (PCIE) graphics card.i did not get desktop effects in my laptop.all i the information i found was very confusing,i tried installing drivers from livna but they did not work.can someone plzzzzzzzzz help me out......
The AMD fglrx display drivers do not support the desktop-effects found in Fedora Core 6. You need to wait for the developers to add AIGLX / texture_from_pixmap support. The only alternative would be to use the open-source Radeon drivers, which should work on your Xpress 200M but there are a few bugs with memory initialization and your GPU.
