Phoronix: It's Fedora Graphics Test Week

The Fedora team this week is hosting their usual Graphics Test Week again, this time for packages that will be making their way into Fedora 15 in just a couple of months. Today is the Nouveau graphics driver test day followed by the Radeon test today tomorrow and on Thursday it will be testing of Intel graphics...

Sounds interesting. Is there a way to figure out the exact version of mesa in the Radeon live CD that will get tested tomorrow?

Well, this is a bit pointless because there's a bug in Fedora 15 right now that makes Gnome-Shell/Mutter crash after login on pretty much all AMD Radeon r600-r900 based cards (Bug 677842).

nikai: mesa is a 7.10 snapshot. Last snapshot date was 2011-01-07 but nvc0 and nv10+nv20 fixes have been backported to it since then.

d2kx: sure, it's useless for everyone except owners of pre-r600 radeon cards, intel cards, and nvidia cards...

Great, in this case I can try to reproduce a mesa regression I'm currently seeing.
