    Cool

Received a tweet yesterday from "oilrush_game" saying

Running final tests of online store for pre-orders
I've been waiting since... had my browser auto-fresh and notify me when page changes

offtopic: first post. I've been browsing Phoronix for 2 years now... good source of information about the open world ( reliable info... my opinion )

    got it.

The company they are using to process the payments take longer than other systems like "Steam" for example... something to do with security checks ...

    e-mail from Denis Shergin

It can take up to several hours because our payment processing partner
(Avangate) makes a lot of security checks. Please contact us if you
will not get your order delivered within a day.

Not sure why they'd use Flash in their engine. I was watching one of Wolfire's videos on Overgrowth, and they're using Theora which seems like a much easier thing to implement into a game engine than Flash.

Flash would only make sense if they use it for the interactive features or animations. For video playing? Why not just use a video decoder which is what Flash uses anyway?
