In the kernel ATOMBIOS code, some command tables works with pre DCE30 hardware.

What is the GPU generation which corresponds to this DCE30?

Is this safe to remove support for those tables for hardware more recent that "DCE30"?

I believe agd5f replied to a similar question on IRC yesterday (and looks like you asked there today ) :

sylware: rv620, rv635, rs780 are DCE3.0

re : removing support for those tables, I guess you would need to check to see if the code that supports your hardware uses those tables or uses other tables which in turn rely on those tables. Is there a compelling reason for removing support for those tables ?
