The first development release of Compiz Fusion is now available. Compiz Fusion 0.5.2 features a variety of improvements all over the board and also includes a brand new Compiz configuration system (libcompizconfig).

Some people told me that latest compiz-fusion git now works with fglrx when using the --force-fglrx option so I tried the new compiz fusion 0.5.2 that came today but this option does not get recognized. Anyone has tried it with git?

release definatly != git with the compizfusion stuff.

There are patches that introduce this, however it is said to be buggy. it will use-copy...

anyhow might do the trick for you.
