Intel E6750 vs. AMD X2 6000+

Hello Everybody!

Does someone have, or can point me to, 64bit (OS and Application) Benchmarks, that compare Core2 Duo E6750 and Athlon X2 6000+?

I already know that the 32bit performace of the E6750 is better and it needs less power, but since I want to run a 64bit Linux I want to know whose better there.

And by the way is the antyhing known how the Intel and AMD hw-virtualizations compare?

32Bit/64Bit should make no difference. I would wait for the AMD Phenom processors if you want really good performance, otherwise go with the Athlon X2 as it doesn't cost a lot (135€ in Germany).
