unity and gnome shell vs fglrx

hello,

I've tried both unity and gnome shell with fglrx drivers, and I can't make them work correctly. they both reboot the system after a few minutes on the desktop.

I'm using ubuntu 11.04, and I've tried gnome-shell with the ppa of the gnome-team.

has someone succeeded in using fglrx with this new desktops ?

fglrx should work fine with unity (it does for me) but it is currently broken for everyone in gnome shell.
