I'm trying to change color saturation for my laptop (for the whole display, not just a specific app). I've installed the recent ATI driver 8.41.7. In CCC there is color gamma slider but that is different from saturation. In console aticonfig has option for saturation, but I cannot get it to work. There are no hardware controls in my laptop for tuning color.

aticonfig --query-monitor gives
Connected monitors: lvds
Enabled monitors: lvds

But if I try
aticonfig --query-dispattrib=lvds,saturation I get
Query information of saturation attribute failed, may not supported by monitor lvds.



Am I looking at the wrong places for this setting?
