Phoronix: Linux 2.6.23-rc8 Kernel Released

The final release of the Linux 2.6.23 kernel is in the air. In the eighth Linux 2.6.23 release candidate there are new chips being supported by the sky2 network driver, signalfd simplification, and a number of other small fixes.
