    Default Control Brightness/Contrast via xorg.conf

Is there a way to control brightness and contrast via xorg.conf?

    I use
    Code:
    xgamma -gamma value
to control the brightness. It does not belong to xorg.conf, but should be executed somewhere(add it to xinitrc, autorun etc)

Value is 1.0 - default, 2.0 - two times higher, -0.5 - half brightness etc.

most monitors have their own brightness and contrast control buttons.
If you are using a laptop, the brightness control might not work perfectly, the gamma controls appear fake, I have to use workarounds like nvidiabl backlight driver to get backlight controls working.
