    For those Mac OS X users who use GTK+ applications - whether it be The GIMP or a variety of other applications available (e.g. gFTP and Gedit) - there's good news to report this weekend. The port of GTK+ to use the Cocoa Framework on Mac OS X has been under-way and it's nearing a point of completion. This work allows GTK+ to be used directly on Mac OS X without running an X.Org Server...
