$1M USD, nice. That is what Valve gives winner of the Dota 2 tournament at GamesCom in Germany in a bit over two weeks (Dota 2 is also shown there for the first time and coming out in late 2011! - I'll try to be there).

For those that don't know, Dota (2) is the gameplay style that Heroes Of Newerth is based on.
