    I think proper power management still depends on having the AMD proprietary driver installed.
    If you want, you can dump your DSDT and peek inside after disassembling it with iasl -d. There you can check if the voltages are determined by the BIOS correctly or not.

    Ok, I just did that. I'm not seeing which section would contain the voltages

    Package (0x06)
    {
    0xFFFF,
    0xFFFF,
    0xFFFF,
    0xFFFF,
    0xFFFF,
    0xFFFF
    },

    bunch of those, so if that's what I think it is, then it's not being set right ....

    Cool update

    My temp readings were wrong
    I got my /etc/sensors3.conf dialed in:

    k10temp-pci-00c3
    Adapter: PCI adapter
    Cpu: +32.0C (high = +95.0C)
    (crit = +95.0C, hyst = +94.0C)

    nct6776-isa-0290
    Adapter: ISA adapter
    Vcore: +1.18 V (min = +0.90 V, max = +1.26 V)
    +12V: +12.29 V (min = +10.85 V, max = +13.82 V)
    AVCC: +3.39 V (min = +2.98 V, max = +3.63 V)
    +3.3V: +3.38 V (min = +2.98 V, max = +3.63 V)
    +5V: +5.04 V (min = +4.52 V, max = +5.52 V)
    3VSB: +3.31 V (min = +2.98 V, max = +3.63 V)
    Vbat: +3.30 V (min = +2.70 V, max = +3.46 V)
    Case Fan: 1336 RPM (min = 600 RPM)
    CPU Fan: 1569 RPM (min = 600 RPM)
    CPU: +32.0C (high = +55.0C, hyst = +35.0C) sensor = thermistor
    MB: +29.0C (high = +50.0C, hyst = +30.0C) sensor = thermistor

    Not bad
