What Intel CPU fan should I buy?

My current CPU fan is noisy for some reason. I want to replace it with a silent solution. The fan selection on Newegg.ca is so overwhelming, I don't know which one to go with.
What CPU fan should I buy that is silent and will keep my CPU nice a cool?

My mobo = Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G Intel P35 + ICH9
My CPU = Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 @3.0GHz LGA775

Noctua's fans give good airflow & pressure with tolerable noise. The NF-P14 is one of the best fans I've seen.

Or did you mean heatsink perhaps? IMHO this website does the best reviews for such things.

If you've meant complete cooler, not only the fan, I recommend Scythe or Noctua.
