Default Which is the status about SDXC on Linux?

    Put aside Tuxera?
At least for reading this device?

Maybe after the exFAT patents expire.

sdxc != exfat, the bigger devices should work fine when formatted with a proper filesystem.

Unfortunately, exFAT is part of the SDXC standard. So if you get a card that was formatted e.g. in a camera, it will probably have an exFAT filesystem.

Reading and writing raw blocks to SDXC should be no problem in Linux.
