Phoronix: Fedora 17 Could Be Called Hugo Or Shakespeare
It's time for Fedora contributors to go crazy again... a.k.a. Red Hat is looking for codename proposals for Fedora 17, which will be their first community Linux release in 2012 to succeed the soon-to-be-released Fedora 16. Here's some of the names that have been proposed thus far...

The codename was Beefy Miracle not mustard
Google "Beefy Miracle" and see what you get.
Anyway, who doesn't like mustard? Without mustard how can one know where one is? The mustard represents, as it were, a sublimation of the divine absolute onto the mortal world. It reminds us of our place, and of the Miracle to come![]()
What about Hugo Chavez? We could get this one with a new slogan... "Fedora 17! LA REVOLUCÍON BOLI.... DEL SOFTWARE!"
haha just kidding :P
Or have your whole distribution version naming scheme from dictators.. reminds me of this fun little gamehttp://www.alexanderband.dk/gud/diktator/d2/index.htm
Jules Verne wrote a book, "2.000 Leagues Under the Sea", about Atlantis, among other things. So did Francis Bacon, who wrote "The New Atlantis", an utopian novel about Atlantis.
Voilà.
