Just tried it out, had to upgrade pixman to 0.23.9 (from git). Works great, 3D acceleration, no artifacts, xvmc looks good, no complaints so far...

any improvements with webgl in chrome/firefox?
$ lspci |grep -i vga
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07)
This fixed text corruption issues I was having in Microsoft Word 2007 and Steam with --enable-sna.
This made KDE's Lancelot launcher more responsive. Highlighted menu items don't lag behind my mouse quite as much as they used to lag. KDE seems more responsive in general.
There appears to be a regression with Adobe Flash 11.0.1.152 on amd64. Youtube videos don't work properly in full screen. Disabling SNA fixes it.
What version did you previously have installed? I am using pixman 0.23.8 and I did not need to upgrade it.
I gave it a try with Google Chrome 15.0.874.106. The Chrome WebGL experiments appear to work:

I do not know if it is an improvement because I had not tried it until now. I had to enable "Override software rendering list" in about:flags to make it work.
