Well the changes for Ubuntu packageing are not really good for reuseing it on a Debian system. Also on Kubuntu I dont see a reason to add a divert for a package that is not even installed by default...

Right now most of the functionality isn't yet implemented and am still in the process of reconstructing the git viewer, etc. There's more features, etc that will be rolled out later this week and more in the coming weeks.
This is the fglrx packaging script repository. Right now up there in fact is 8.43 scripts. For the history, see: http://www.phoronix.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6005
The scripts for the end-users to benefit from this repository will be out shortly after the 8.43 release (hopefully).
Any comments or suggestions are welcome prior to the official introduction of Phorogit.

I dont see the url to clone the branch
Who must I contact to submit changes?
Well, with git you don't submit changes; you ask the
master of the public repo (Michael in this case) to
pull a specific branch from YOUR development copy.
So you clone the pulic repository, work on your local
copy/branch, then ask Michael to pull the changes you made.
Or alternatively, send the patch generated by
git-format-patch to the appropriate person/Mailing list
