    there will be some game chancing opensource announcement at FOSDEM in February.

    i think amd will push the open source driver radeon to be the main openCL linux platform ready for the APU opteron 1 year later in 2013.

    Why you are surprised that you haven't heard anything about the london meeting.

    Wayland is being developed by Intel hackers +a few others and afaik there is nothing like a roadmap for wayland or anything like open tasks for everybody to contribute in (apart from a TODO in the repos).

    Probably those people just gathered in London.
