just for the record: I'm not paid by AMD.

nVidia is paying me by putting out the best graphics hardware and drivers for Linux. I wouldn't run AMD if they gave the junk away.

You're not here for me, nVidia is though.

Then nVidia better ink me a check. I just dropped ATI out of this system for nVidia and I couldn't be happier! Granted I paid about 6 times as much for the nVidia card as I did for the ATI one, $15 as opposed to $2 but the nVidia card is way better. That is my story and I'm sticking with it.

I tend to agree. No one's going to pay Linux users to trash-talk AMD when those of us that own some AMD cards will do it for free.

But until Nvidia gets optimus support going, they don't get any compliments either.
