I think unlikely this driver will be completed in time for KDE Plasma's rebranded Zenithink C71, but an eventual spread of Mali-400 devices could help the development. The 'KDE tablet' will be released with proprietary user-space drivers.

btw, in case someone missed it the limare source code is now released here. I'm still waiting for Micheal to post the presentation so I can listen to it.
