To be honest, most of what was in that video sounds like stuff I've heard already...but maybe that's because I've read a few threads in the mailing list before.

Still, it may help some to understand what Wayland is about. It would have been nice to have the other presentation too, so that if he presented it in a way which was more understandable for some people than this discussion, it would be available as an alternative.
