I would love for this test to be run on some AMD cards, on Ubuntu 11.10 with a AMD 5450 the system seams a bit slugish when the terminal is blasting away :/

NVIDIA's blob isn't that bad, huh? In fact in some cases it's in an order of magnitude faster than nouveau, on average it's 3-5 times faster.

I wonder how much the engine clock influence this. It would be useful if Michael could provide info on clock speeds or redo the test on highest perf. level.
