Hi guys,
I'm currently running libdrm xf86-video-ati and mesa
from latest git (+ ~amd64 gentoo) on a 5850 HD
and there's some weird color shift with playing vdpau-accelerated videos via adobe-flash on youtube
yellow seems to be a sort of turquoise/blue-ish
skin color is blue-ish, too
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1lKXQ3SDE8
take a look at the right how it's supposed to be (yellow)
another one:

the sunrise is supposed to be yellow, too
other random video - where you can see that the skin is blue-ish

could you please fix it ?
is this a known problem ?
Thanks so much for your awesome work - accelerated video works great already =)
Having the wrong colors is a minor (but annoying) issue
I'm also facing Smurf mode with r600 vdpau (recent git).
This seems to be the reason, why adobe has disabled vdpau acceleration in recent flash versions.
They have problems with their own O-formed hands. I hope they fix this(these).
seems like this regression / issue got introduced since 11.2:
11.1.102.63 works and has the correct color
11.2.202.223 and 11.2.202.228
have the wrong color
haven't tested 32bit - this is with 64bit on 64bit chromium
I've the same problem. I got both Nvidia and ATI card with me. As far as I know, both have the same problem with Adobe flash. It is Adobe's bug.
As long as you're using VDPAU this error will occur. You've to disable hardware acceleration.
Seems like the latest Chrome 32-bit update fixed that. Try again. I also want to know if it works.
not sure if vdpau is really working but I've at least re-enabled it now via use-flag
and it seems the regression/issue isn't there anymore: 11.2.202.236
edit:
ok, not fully activated ...

will try later and re-compile stuff to see whether it's fixed
