    No, the onus is on them to prove that they're proposing a project that people are willing to pay to fund. Scamming has nothing to do with it. Kickstarter isn't some giant pyramid scheme or other illegal endeavor trying to nail you. If you don't think a project will deliver anything of value, then don't back the project. It's that simple.

    A farming-focused RPG. At $800 with a $1000 goal but only 3 days left in the campaign. I saw a horse in the video and that was enough for me (my nieces love horses).

    Default Distance - A Next Generation Arcade Racer

    A racing game with impressive graphics and physics. $53,500 of $125K goal with 14 days to go. The $10K reward is a custom-built arcade machine.
    Distance will be released for Windows & Mac (with possible Linux support once Unity4 is released).
