    Alien Arena has great art assets and a great engine. Even on low settings, it looks fantastic. Lots of great screenshots on this page:

    deserves more love from the floss community particularily some outstanding bugs with the r600g driver need to be fixed

    together with Xonotic one of the prettiest open games on linux now

    Remember that the maps are made in the In-GAME EDITOR, they use very few external resources. You can just open the game in edit mode and do maps like those.

    Michael, what do you mean about stalled iodoom3 efforts?
    iDTech4 was ported to 64 bit, cmake build system, patented code put back, GLSL renderer, etc...

    It is commercial, proprietary software.

    IMHO we should differentiate between (formerly) commercial software and purely community driven projects.

    I want to see TA-Spring and 0A.D. merge somehow. I think the result would be interesting.
