I'd rather take bugfixes (KDE has TONS of glitches) than animated wallpapers.
I wonder if gnome or unity will have this feature in the future?
That looks gorgeous. Friend of mine is worried that it will take up additional RAM, however, and he doesn't deem that worth it. I countered with Linux having lower hardware requirements than Windows as is, meaning that it isn't much of an issue. Was I correct in doing so?
Although I very much appreciate this video, feature, and thread, what's so special about animated wallpapers? Apparently they have been around since 2007, if not earlier. Not trolling, just genuinely curious as I often like to argue the case for Linux.
