There's a lot of love for old hardware recently. That's refreshing.
Yeah, too bad my Geforce 2 MX died many years ago along with my 500Mhz K6-2...

Even older hardware Riva TNT series has also seen some love. With Linux 3.2 or 3.3 I2C broke on this hardware meaning you couldn't detect screen resolutions and TV outputs stopped working. 3.4 fixed it again. I still have a Riva TNT2 Pro as spare graphics card.

The good thing is that for a long time these old cards used far less power than any modern card. And if you needed a GPU just for displaying text and stuff they came in quite handy.
On the other side my Geforce 3 then was hot and hungry so having it replaced with a modern GPU was far better.
But looking at my collection I even see some old ISA cards. Maybe 512 K VRAM. Heh. I wonder if I could get then to run. But then, how to find a working mainboard that still has ISA...
Stop TCPA, stupid software patents and corrupt politicians!
