as with every newer Ubuntu release you first have to replace Unity with Gnome-Shell and throw Pulse-Audio away to get a somewhat useful system.

Replace Unity with gnome-shell to get a useful system? you obviously use your computer for just trolling in the internet.

Removing pulseaudio breaks audio left and right for me.

When I run 'weston' a window comes up, and then there is only one icon for a terminal.
When I click that terminal, then a terminal comes up.

I can't do anything else...

But I don't want to run only a terminal.
I want to run more applications.

Also, I don't want run Weston on X. I want to run X on Weston.
