    I believe the article could do with a few words of condolence from phoronix, too.

    At first it looked a bit sensationalist to me, that's probably not how the post is meant.

    No!!!! This is really sad and unfortunate news for the whole community.

    We can never replace the contribution this person made to us -- his unique knowledge and abilities and efforts. But I hope that his life work will live on in the people who use his driver.

    My condolences to his family and friends.

    I never really had any contact with him, but certainly read some of his posts around here and saw his impact on Mesa.
