What does "cpu edp" mean?
Afaik (Embedded Development Platform)
Yay for tla!
Correct, eDP is "Embedded DisplayPort". I believe some generations of hardware had "PCH eDP"---which means eDP controlled by the CHipset---while modern ones have eDP directly from the CPU. From a user-POV it shouldn't matter or even be visible, but programming it is a bit different (and mostly, there are often bugs pertaining to one or the other but not both).
