No kidding Nero even on windows especially the later version were crap. K3B is probably the best linux CD burning software. Also don't forget ISO master... quite handy.
and if you need loads of control you can use command line tools like wodim. http://linuxconfig.org/using-command...burn-iso-image
Because... I've NEVER needed it. Even on windows where I had Nero ... I have always ended up being forced to use a different tool because nero didn't work as well.
Same here. Nero wasn't covering anything not already covered by open source applications. It was trying to compete with something that was better, already established and didn't cost anything. Good luck with that.
