Default wow performance and new graphics card

Hi all, first time posting on phoronix

I've been starting to play WoW recently (numerous reasons) and my current amd k7 1.8ghz, gf6200 doesn't cut it. I'd really like to have some video on while playing, but this lowers my framerate to something like 10-12 while without it I might get almost 20. Should I buy a whole new system (hd video would really be a bonus) like a new penryn quad core and 8800gt or should I just upgrade to 7600gtx agp card? I'd like to have capability for proper multitasking again.

I'm running a multihead system (2 19" screens at 1280x1024) and I don't plan on upgrading this right now.

If you can afford it using a new quad core is certainly the better choice. Let's see when the 45nm chips will be available.
