hah well that was a quick spot, also kinda stupid to get everyone hyped-up about it when it only affects 1 crappy chipset
Perhaps the logic within the commit has a bug that ends up burning power due to bad side interactions so hopefully it'll get reworked
Good to see a quick return on issues like these.
I've been holding back, staying on kernel 3.4, rather than upgrading to 3.5.3 in the opensuse12.1/tumbleweed repository
any news on a fix? I had a look at commit logs but saw nothing obvious :-(
