Can we see the same test with a bare bones distro on an HDD? Not all people need cups, bluetooth or other optional services so I think it's fair to test the minimum and not what Ubuntu wants to offer.
Well, that's interesting, since I'm doing a boot speed benchmark right now, although my scope is a lot broader - I'm testing Windows as well, and testing the boot speeds all the way back to Windows 95/Slackware 2.1. Almost done with it, but still need to describe the results and all.
