Phoronix: openSUSE 12.2 Is Now On ARM Hardware
Two months after openSUSE 12.2 was released for x86 architectures, the gold master images are now available for ARM with flavors for the popular ARM SoC development boards...
Michael, it would be really great if you could do an article about the steps required to have a single kernel supporting every ARM SoC ou there (hardware and software wise), what is being worked on what isn't and how far each of these is from being complete.
ARM seems to be all the rage recently, but it's still a pain in the ass for avarage joes like me to simply install a distro on and be done with it.
...also it would be nice to support the Olimex, Raspberry Pi, CubieBoard, VIA APC, and in special the ODROID-X and soon to be released ODROID-X2 .
