I am looking into buying a new SSD for my laptop. At the moment, I am quite heavily using dm-crypt for my personal / company encryption however some of the SSD have hardware encryption bultin so it seems to be more effective to switch to that.
Did anyone use SSD with encryption with Linux? Also, does every BIOS (motherboard) support it?
