    In the article http://linkinghub.elsevier.com/retri...7907380700134X

Cadaver dogs were tested in TWO TESTS with bodies dead less than 3 hours.

Carpet squares were used as an odor transporting media.

In test 1) The contamination occurred for 2 min WITHOUT ANY DIRECT CONTACT between the carpet and the corpse.

Comparative searches by the dogs were performed over a time period of 35 days.

In test 2) The contamination occurred for 10 min WITHOUT ANY DIRECT CONTACT between the carpet and the corpse.

Comparative searches by the dogs were performed over a time period of 65 days.

    RESULTS = AMAZING.

The results of this study indicate that the well-trained cadaver dog is an outstanding tool for crime scene investigation displaying excellent sensitivity (75-100), specificity (91-100), and having a positive predictive value (90-100), negative predictive value (90-100) as well as accuracy (92-100).

    CONCLUSION:

The fable about Reiser that you read in the newspapers is crap.

There is some explanation other than the "official" crap.

The accuracy of the dogs was 92-100% over a 65 day period (and in another test, a 35 day period).

The accuracy of the dogs was 92-100%,.. but that's not all. The accuracy figure includes tests up to 65 days after the body came close to, but did not touch, the carpet square.

The accuracy of the dogs on day one, must have been 100%, if the accuracy only reduced to 92%, after some 50-60 days.

This used to be funny. Now, it's merely pathetic.

When someone consecutively wrote 5 posts in a short time frame, that my friend, is a clear sign of agitation.

Extremely pathetic. As if they knew where the body was before Hans told them, he would be on death row right now.

How easily we fail to take into account the far-reaching power of this secret Jewish society that Jade has so diligently uncovered!

Actually, Hans Reiser himself could appear in court and while being video recorded say how, when and why he killed his wife and Jade would still be making up idiotic conspiracy theories on who must have made him confess.

Here is a good article on Reiser's last meeting with a journalist. It's not an interview really since no questions are asked:

    And, from joshuapurcell's link:

Search and rescue had scoured the area with ground troops and cadaver dogs, but the body was hidden in a shallow grave more than 100 feet down a steep ravine. She had been strangled. His lawyers stated that Hans was remorseful; that he was trying to make things right. I knew that wasn't true. He had maintained his innocence since being arrested in October 2006. I was the last journalist to interview him before his confession. He wasn't remorseful, he was angry. He still felt the world owed him something.
Not that I hate Hans, but from what I have read about his character, the last part wasn't much of a big surprise to me.

Yes, the man wrote a file system, many view it as one of the best file system in the world, and made it into Linux.
Yes, because of this contribution, many of us admire him.
Yes, is saddening, it turn out this way.

But, he killed his ex-wife. From what I have learned so far, it is a fact.

MORE ON THIS (why not give the whole quote):

"Hans Reiser first told prosecutors a story that implicated Sean Sturgeon as the killer. Reiser claimed he had only helped bury the body. When he was asked to take a lie detector test while repeating the story, Reiser failed the test.
    .
Hans Reiser then offered another story, in which he said he strangled Nina after the two fought. He was offered a deal for second degree murder, 15-to-life, and waived his appellate rights."
