You need an account. It will go "public" very soon accoding to Valve. Report all your issues there!

I dont get how many accounts somebody needs to report an issue to amd. Can't the devs read the existing forums? I mean there is an amd subforum for steam already. When you use steam then you have got an account there. So why should somebody register for a RESTRICTED forum. That's completely stupid when amd devs decide who may post errors and who not. That's not how it works, definitely NOT.

Lolwut? You doesn't need account for example for this http://www.amd.com/us/LinuxCrewSurvey or for this http://emailcustomercare.amd.com.
There is already enough properly reported issues - better to work on fixes instead of reading external Internet forums to find additional reports.
Forum already is open: http://devgurus.amd.com/community/steam-linux
I don't see a single reply by AMD so far.
Looks familiar when it comes to Catalyst. :/
Maybe they're already frustrated due to those legacy-driver related postings...![]()
In fairness, most of the posts came on the weekend...
EDIT -- my bad, I was looking at date of last post... and in case anyone hasn't seen it, this post describes a workaround for running TF2 on the legacy drivers :

@bridgman
That workaround causes rendering problems. Also do you know that some ppl managed to activate the "disabled" bits on the 12.10 drivers to run on legacy hardware? Look

When modders can activate it then amd can do the same much simpler. That's just a marketing trick that users should buy new hardware - not more not less.
@RussianNeuroMancer
I definine restricted as that a mod needs to enable your account to be able to post. Nvidia has now an old board as well because nvnews was too long down but do you think somebody has to enable your account manually there?
