1600 * 900 = 1440000 pixels.
1280 * 1024 = 1310720 pixels.

1600x900 should be listed after 1280x1024

Same for 1600x1200 and 1680x1080, 1600x1200 has more pixels than 1680x1050.

Just let your scripts do the multiplication and sort things that way

The scripts do do the multiplication but at that stage later in the process its (unfortunately) being sorted differently since its just a string but doesn't know if its a resolution, file size, or what, without parsing the string to figure it out.

Considering the FX-8350 cannot keep up with the 2 year old i5 2500k, I'm not sure it should be called 'high end'. I'd bet $50 that a swap to anything Sandy or Ivy Bridge gives a massive improvements in those benchmarks.

Bollocks. CPU performance has nothing to do with this.

Unigine has always been almost entirely GPU dependent.

It says in the article that CPU performance is holding it back... Plus the frame rate doesn't even change much until the jump to the very highest resolution tested, which is a telltale sign of CPU bottlenecks.
