    Naive question: Does this get us any closer to getting Nvidia binary support for Wayland on non-optimus systems?

    Was thinking the same. I haven't found any clear cut answer on why they don't support KMS yet and what it would take to make it work and if there are obstacles in the way (licensing etc.).
