Cool Newbie want to dig the code

    Hello there,
I am a student of computer engineering (1st year). I find PTS to be definitely interesting and I would like to dig the code, understand how it works and learn the theories/ideas behind the code.

I signed in the forum and mailing list, is there an irc channel anywhere?

Any simple hints on how to start reading the code?

    Thanks

    Welcome!

The IRC channel to be used is #phoronix on Freenode IRC. However, most of the development happens by me, so you can simply ping me (michaellarabel) on FreeNode with any questions or advice.

Start by looking at pts-core/pts-core.php and from there all of the code within pts-core/objects/ is fully modularized so easy to dig into the different classes.

Good luck and let me know if you have any questions. New contributions are certainly welcome!

    Michael
